This site is operated by Patrick Arends, an independent architect and project manager working in England and Wales. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the contact form on de-ruyter.co.uk.

What I collect

When you fill in the contact form I receive: your name, email address, optionally a location and project timing, and your message. The form also records the IP address you submitted from and a short note about your browser, used only to investigate spam.

How it's used

Your submission is sent to me by email and stored in this site's database so I don't lose it. I read it, reply to you, and — if it leads to a project — we keep talking. I don't add you to any mailing list, I don't share your details with anyone else, and I don't run advertising or tracking pixels on this site.

How long it's kept

Submissions are retained for 24 months and then deleted automatically. You can ask me to delete yours sooner at any time.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can ask me to confirm what data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email hello@de-ruyter.co.uk with "privacy" in the subject line.

Cookies

This site uses one strictly necessary cookie to keep your form session secure (CSRF protection). It expires when you close the browser. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies are used.

Hosting

The site runs on UK-based servers. Outgoing email is delivered through the SMTP provider configured for de-ruyter.co.uk. No personal data leaves the UK or EEA.
